- In Islam, people must be responsible for governing themselves.
- Islam recommends a government based on a social contract.
- There is no country on earth at the moment, which can be shown to be a good example of a Muslim state.
- Islam as a religion does not have clergy. Interpretation of religious sources, and spiritual leadership are open to any Muslim with potential, who would be accepted and acknowledged by the people based on their religious qualifications and personal piety.
